Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Pipit LLC (“we,” “us”) governing your use of The Pet Issue app (the “App”). By using the App you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the App.

The service

The App lets you turn photos of your pet into AI-generated portraits in a range of styles, save them, and share them. Generated images are produced by AI and may vary in quality and accuracy.

Your account

You may use the App as a guest or by linking an account (Apple or email). You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

Acceptable use

• Only upload photos you own or have the right to use.
• Don’t use the App to create unlawful, infringing, harmful, or deceptive content, or to impersonate others.
• Don’t attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the App or its generation system (including automated or bulk use to farm free credits).

Your content & the portraits

You keep ownership of the pet photos you upload. You grant us a limited license to process and store them solely to provide the App. Subject to these Terms, the portraits the App generates for you are yours to use, including for personal and commercial purposes. We may apply a watermark to portraits created on the free tier.

Credits & Pro subscription

The App provides a limited number of free generations and ways to earn more. The Pet Issue Pro is an auto-renewable subscription that removes the limit and the watermark.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription automatically renews at the then-current price unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings after purchase.
• Prices are shown in the App before purchase and may vary by region. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

Intellectual property

The App, its design, brand, and content (excluding your uploads and your generated portraits) are owned by Pipit LLC and protected by law. These Terms don’t grant you rights to our trademarks or branding.

Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. AI-generated output may not be accurate or to your expectations. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pipit LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for amounts exceeding what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Pipit LLC against claims arising from your content or your misuse of the App.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them. We’ll revise the “Effective” date above.
